For a Saturday night after drinking so heavy this food was the best part of my night, the waitress was so sweet every one was dancing the drinks was real and good. If you are in the LES area please end your night or start your night here. Tell them i sent you
Been coming here for prob two decades now. Amazing people, amazing and an excellent chicharrón de pollo sin hueso dish. The margaritas are legendary for getting you wasted fast, so be careful. A great, homey place to grab good Spanish cooking in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and one of the last authentic LES establishments left from a nearly forgotten era.
I gotta say, looking at the reviews made me really wary of trying this place out. But I'm glad I ignored the reviews and got to experience it myself! The margaritas are pretty good, coconut flavor was okay..., the chicken quesadilla was not to my liking when I first tried it (the chicken was a little too saucy/heavy) BUT I think after a few margaritas it did grow on me! The pepper steak was BOMB, very flavorful and fresh - broccoli Is always good to me and this was delicious too - definitely ignore the bad reviews of this place and go try for yourself!
